Welcome to Easehealthub ("we," "our," or "us"), a telemedicine platform operated by Dr. Nafisat Abdulfatai-Adedeji. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and medical consultation services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, booking a consultation, or using any part of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Easehealthub.

If you are using our Services on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or be represented by a parent/legal guardian
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable laws

3. Description of Services

Easehealthub provides virtual medical consultation services, including:

• Endocrinology consultations
• Diabetes management and care
• Internal medicine consultations
• Metabolic disorder evaluations
• Follow-up appointments and prescription management
• Medical advice and health education

Our Services are provided through secure video consultations, messaging, and other communication channels as appropriate.

4. Medical Disclaimer and Limitations

4.1 Not for Emergencies

IMPORTANT: Our Services are NOT intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use our platform for urgent or life-threatening conditions.

4.2 Telemedicine Limitations

Telemedicine consultations have inherent limitations, including:

• Inability to perform physical examinations
• Reliance on patient-provided information
• Technical issues affecting communication quality
• Limited ability to diagnose certain conditions remotely

4.3 No Guarantee

While we strive to provide high-quality medical care, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Medical decisions are made using professional judgment based on available information.

4.4 In-Person Follow-Up

In some cases, our healthcare provider may determine that an in-person examination or additional testing is necessary for proper diagnosis and treatment. You agree to follow such recommendations.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your medical history and symptoms
• Update your information promptly if there are any changes
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Be present and attentive during scheduled consultations
• Follow medical advice and treatment recommendations
• Inform us of any adverse reactions or concerns
• Pay all applicable fees for services rendered
• Not share your account with others
• Not misuse or abuse the Services
• Respect our healthcare providers and staff

6. Appointments: Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

6.1 Booking

You can book appointments through our website using the integrated scheduling system. Appointment availability is subject to the healthcare provider's schedule.

6.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of payment.

6.3 No-Show Policy

If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full consultation fee. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of your account.

6.4 Provider Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Fees

Consultation fees are displayed on our website and must be paid at the time of booking unless alternative payment arrangements have been made. Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

7.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment through secure third-party payment processors (currently Paystack). You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize charges for services rendered.

7.3 Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

• Cancellation by the healthcare provider
• Technical issues preventing consultation delivery
• Cancellation by patient with more than 24 hours notice (subject to processing fee)
• Other exceptional circumstances at our discretion

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the consultation date. Refunds are typically processed within 14 business days.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website and platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and design elements, is the property of Easehealthub or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from our platform
• Use automated systems to access our Services

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your health information. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

All medical consultations are confidential and conducted in accordance with applicable medical ethics and Nigerian healthcare regulations. However, we may be required to disclose information when mandated by law or in emergency situations.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Services for illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or threaten healthcare providers or staff
• Attempt to obtain prescriptions fraudulently
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to others
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
• Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Request services outside the scope of our practice

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abusive behavior, or misuse of Services.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, but medical records will be retained as required by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easehealthub, its healthcare providers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Services at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Easehealthub, its healthcare providers, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, before resorting to litigation.

15.3 Jurisdiction

Any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a new effective date and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification.

Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Easehealthub regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
